Welcome to Au Coeur de Bordeaux, (The Heart of Bordeaux), a B&B, Boutique hotel which maintains the charming French South Western tradition of hospitality. Au Coeur de Bordeaux is the perfect choice for tourists who want to discover Bordeaux Le Port de la Lune (Port of the Moon).

Aude & Sebastien warmly welcome you to this early 19th century building, renovated with loving care and attention, emphasizing its orginal white stone facade and inner walls. Furnished with antiques and objects discovered during 10 years of farflung travel, the 5 rooms, including 2 suites, will make you feel for one day or more as though you are in the Heart of Bordeaux…
The ground floor reception area is filled with a warm and welcoming light emanating from unique lighting fixtures such as crystal pendant wall lamps, a beautiful 1930s pineapple lamp and 19th century restaurant chandeliers.
In the living room, you can relax and plan your stay in Bordeaux and its region with the available local guides and tourist information while drinking tea on an antique re-upholstered Louis Philippe sofa.

Au Cœur de Bordeaux offers you the choice of three rooms and two 2-bedrooms suites. Each of the rooms are designed and furnished in an individual style with a mix of modern and antique pieces Their taste and distinction makes staying in them a special experience and comparable to the Wine Chateaux they are named after. These rooms were refurbished with care and attention to detail and the quality of the surroundings with wall tapestries and paints made from natural pigments and traditional techniques; bathing the rooms in light, warmth and a fine ambiance.
Each room has its own bathroom with toilet and walk-in shower (one room comes with a bath tub), a mini-bar, a flat screen TV and wi-fi internet.
All furniture has been sourced in antique shops around Bordeaux and the antique chairs and armchairs have been reupholstered with colorful velvet designer fabrics. They contrast with baroque wall paints and renovated old limestone brought from Saint Emilion in the 19th century. We personally selected all carpets from Afghanistan and decorations from the many other countries we lived and travelled in.

We propose you to walk to the wine cellar to choose and taste one of several bottles of Bordeaux and Champagne we make available to you. Each one can find the wine made for him and will remember the house motto inspired from Leonardo Da Vinci: «I think happiness is born to men where they find good wines”.
