Situated on the heights of Tours, the Closerie de l’Épan opens its doors to welcome you and provide a delightful break. In 1641, this estate was located in the heart of the Noble Joué vineyards. The main building was then used as a “chai”. The house is part of a small group of ancient-looking houses in a very quiet area on the outskirts of Tours. Tours is the main city in the area and is the historic capital of the Loire valley. It has recently been classified by UNESCO. The city has been beautifully restored and offers a lot of interesting places to visit, not to mention very good restaurants of all types of cuisine.
This area is the best location for visiting royal castles, abbeys and villages that make up the core of French history.
Within walking distance of the house is a lake which has a boating school and a children’s play area. It also offers an area for jogging and cycling.
