This 2 bedroom gite is a MUST for short breaks or just a great holiday. Summer or winter alike, it is an ideal all year round self catering holiday location.

For SUMMER HOLIDAYS: sun loungers, tables and chairs, barbeque and of course the POOL.

For WINTER HOLIDAYS: bright and sunny, fully centrally heated, you can even eat outside on the sheltered balcony most of the year round.

FUNCTIONNAL, LIGHT AND SUNNY this gite has been carefully decorated with antique furniture and colourful fittings.

FULLY EQUIPPED - from dishwasher (very important!), cooker, microwave, large fridge, freezer, washing machine, toaster, kettle, coffee maker...the list goes on ... and comfortable sofa-bed (sleeps 2).

We've tried to make everything smart and comfortable with all the mod cons and think we give good value for money!!

Paradise for walkers and cyclists on the miles of dirt tracks straight from the doorstep! All tourist information provided on the many places to visit and activities in the area too numerous to put down here (children orientated, walks, chateaux, abbeys, canoeing, white water rafting, riding...).

We are a friendly anglo-French family who live on the premises; we like to be helpful but are not intrusive! We can organize bike rental, ring to book restaurants, canal trips or help you in any way to organize your site seeing or activites.

Ryanair fly into Carcassonne from London/Stansted, Liverpool, Glassgow, Nottingham, Leeds, Shannon, Dublin. Other airlines fly into Toulouse which is just 1 hour from Carcassonne.

These gites are in the heart of the Languedoc, and just 5 miles from Carcassonne.

The village is very typical with its chateau, narrow shaded streets and mediaeval church and has it's village shop cum tobacconist cum baker (open everyday) and tennis court, as well as vineyards.

Go wine tasting in the many local vinyards, eat out in the shade of the plane trees and discover the colourful LOCAL GASTRONOMY...

Or you might prefer walking or cycling and picnicking in the WONDERFUL CONTRASTS offered by the LANDSCAPES.

Spend the day on the beach and swim in the WARM WATERS OF THE MED, just an hour's drive away.

For those who wish to go further afield - a two hour drive away - spend a day in SPAIN or or for a little RETAIL THERAPY, take advantage of DUTY-FREE SHOPPING IN ANDORRA.
